I’m in the hospital. Severe dehydration due to acute gastroenteritis. Since noon yesterday. Will probably go home today. This is just like in Chandigarh.
Actually, I’ll explain the irony later.

Gastroenteritis (also known as gastro, gastric flu, and stomach flu although unrelated to influenza) refers to inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, involving both the stomach and the small intestine (see also gastritis and enteritis) and resulting in acute diarrhea. The inflammation is caused most often by infection with certain viruses, less often by bacteria or their toxins, parasites, or adverse reaction to something in the diet or medication. Worldwide, inadequate treatment of gastroenteritis kills 5 to 8 million people per year, and is a leading cause of death among infants and children under 5.

And here I was whining about my near-poisoning, while you’ve had to deal with a real poisoning.
Are you feeling better?

Yeah.
Kinda getting used to all the nice relaxation created by not working and staying at a ‘real’ home instead of the “sparse skint-bachelor’s pad” apartment I officially live at though.
bad, bad… I shouldn’t get used to this just yet.

Isn’t this like the 3rd time you’ve had food poisoning in the past year? What’s up with that?
Hope you’re fully recovered.
