Linux, Safari @ Windows, and generally speaking.

My motherboard’s a dyin’… It’s battery is a cryin’

Xubuntu (XFCE) is … HEAVIER … than PCLinuxOS (KDE)

Wow.

Plus KDE apps are insanely great.

So I’ll go back to PCLOS. I think. Maybe a multiple boot with a million distros and twenty flavours of Windows ?

And that’s where Linux becomes Lunix. Too many choices. I guess we’ll let evolution take it’s course.

Safari @ Windows is a bold faced lie. It’s not a browser at all. Websites don’t open AT ALL. AT ALL. Nothing happens. It just says ‘loading’ and does absolutely nothing. It uses about 13 MB RAM and just SITS there. Better than IE, my ass. IE works at least.

The rest of the things… it looks good, I don’t mind a different interface [Firefox, Opera blabla]… The font smoothing is superb and easy on the eyes. Overall things did look better on the only page that I could open [and that too only once] – Apple Safari Start Page™.

No new books in, no football, not going to the gym. I’m actually jaded and I’m not moving forward ANY which way.

Meh.

  1. Why would you even consider running anything mac’ish? :)

  2. Novelty item. So to speak. [which is a big cliche in India]

I just like the way Apple engineers it’s things.
