I have a multiply-by-four issue cropping up. It’s insane. for x desktops specified in the KDE Control Panel, there are 4x after I enable Beryl. I even got to the point of editing config files and installed kicker-compiz and <strike>pager</strike><i>something</i>-compiz…. still no go. Maybe I’ll try Xubuntu soon. It's easy and fast.
