Out here, it is recommended we buy additional space for blogs, once we run out of it.
Q: How can anyone run out of 10G worth of space?
The best answer, with a trackback, gets the 10G free.
What… how…
Well someone on the phone said it was a good online backup service – NOT! I don’t think I’d put up my own PERSONAL data on a service that’s meant to SHARE data. I don’t share data. It’s my data. Hands off my data.
Then it hit me…
audioblogging and/or videoblogging… or vblogs… or whatever-the-hell-they-call-it. Use free and open source lossless formats. And boom! 10G in 2 years, filled. Of course, it’ll take a hell lot of blogging by a GROUP of bloggers, not just one person. But still.
I’d say between Audacity and a similar video editor, I guess you’re covered.
Why would I need 10GB?
uhh… a webcomic? or a webcast cartoon?
…or video episodes of gaming footage!
…amateur Douglas Adams adpatations?
…my router firewall logs?
To be perfectly honest, I’d much rather have the custom CSS upgrade. Or even better, to get onto a separate host altogether, so that I can muck around with the WP theme as much as I want to.
